Description

City Intervals explores the quiet rhythm of light within the city after dark.

A continuous line of polished black agate forms the foundation — steady, grounded, and uninterrupted. Its deep tone creates a sense of stillness, like the surface of the city at night.

Along this line, small baroque pearls appear at measured intervals. Each one catches light softly, emerging from the darkness like distant windows or signals scattered across the skyline.

Nothing is excessive. Nothing breaks the line completely.
Instead, light exists in fragments — placed with intention, spaced to create rhythm.

The piece moves between absence and presence,
shadow and glow,
structure and quiet interruption.

A composition that reflects the city not at its loudest,
