Description

Prism Fragment explores the quiet tension between order and disruption — where light is no longer continuous, but broken, scattered, and reassembled.

A strand of near-round freshwater pearls forms a clean, structured base, calm and composed. Moving inward, faceted and raw crystal elements begin to interrupt that rhythm, refracting light in shifting directions.

At the center, a square bead composed of shell fragments becomes the focal point — iridescent, layered, and quietly luminous. Like a surface catching multiple reflections at once, it gathers the surrounding elements into a single moment.

Baroque pearls at either side soften the transition, bridging the clarity of crystal and the precision of form with something more organic and fluid.

Structured yet fractured, Prism Fragment holds light not as a single glow, but as something divided — and beautifully reformed.

Materials: baroque freshwater pearls (approx.21–26 mm) , round freshwater pearls, clear quartz, shell elements, Brazilian crackle quartz

The baroque pearls used in this piece are individually selected for their exceptional luster and luminous overtones.

The mini baroque pearls are carefully matched for quality and shape. Their small size makes drilling and sourcing high-quality examples particularly challenging.

Because each pearl is naturally formed, no two are exactly alike. Variations in shape, color, surface texture, and occasional natural growth features are part of the unique character of genuine freshwater pearls.
Hardware: brass (available in gold-tone or silver-tone finish)

Every LUMEFIA piece is individually handmade in Tokyo.

We work with natural pearls, stones, shell, glass, and other materials whose color, shape, texture, and inclusions may vary from piece to piece.

Made-to-order pieces require approximately 1–3 weeks before shipment.

Each design is produced in small quantities. Once a piece sells out, it may be offered again as made-to-order, subject to material availability.
